An Announcement
I just wanted to pop in and let you know that I have decided to take a break from Web Design.
From today I will not be taking on any new clients, and will be finishing up the client work that I have been contracted to do, and will then be packing up my life for Canada.
I’m not sure if this break will be for 3-6 months or for much longer. I am going to reassess when when I have settled in and am ready to make better decisions. I have a few ideas on what I would like to do next year, but I will wait and see how they pan out after my trip across the USA.
If you have supported me in any way throughout this time, I want to say a big THANK YOU to you. I am incredibly grateful for the support I have had.
It’s time for me to take a break after nearly 4 years of being a small business.
Thanks again,
Dannielle
P.S. normal blog posts will resume soon.
A New Site to Share: St Vincents Private Hospital Blog
Hi everyone! Thanks so much for your support with my move to the new blog. (You can catch it here if you haven’t seen it yet).
Today I wanted to share a site that I spent a long time working on and couldn’t be happier with how it turned out.
The St Vincents Private Hospital is a Maternity Hospital located in Melbourne, Australia and they were looking to start a blog to share information both about their hospital and all those things that parents-to-be might want to know but don’t always feel they can ask. They wanted a friendly resource that communicates with people during that special time in a friendly and modern way.
If you’d like to see and explore the site you can find it here. Aren’t the babies just adorable?! You can also see this in my portfolio.
I have a few spaces available for March if you’re looking to have a blog or site created. You can find out more here.
Happy Monday to you!
A New Site to Share: Rock+Purl
I was lucky enough to get the opportunity to work on the redesign for Ruth at Rock+Purl‘s website. Ruth had some great ideas on what she was looking for that I was able to build upon.
The site now has a focus on her growing Patterns shop and a new look for her awesome blog.
I really enjoyed working on this site, which taught me some new tricks and some lessons on what to do when a site move takes a little longer than planned. (Thanks so much for your patience, Ruth).
If you’d like to have a look at the whole site, you can see it here. It’s also been added to my portfolio, where you can also see my other work.
I think my favourite part of the design is the rounded images. They really add something to the Rock+Purl look!
Happy Monday!
