Inspiration: The Magic Wallpaper
A couple of weeks ago, when I was cleaning the family bookshelf, I saw this beautiful gem of a book and I just had to share some of the amazing illustrations. I don’t recall reading this as a child but it may have been one of my older siblings books.
It’s called The Magic Wallpaper by Frank Francis. It’s a lovely book about a boy who gets new wallpaper in his room and one night he can’t sleep and goes on a journey through the wallpaper trying to find his way back to his bed.

Aren’t they beautiful? I think because I’m not very good at illustration I really appreciate when something has been done so very well. It’s also a very sweet story. I’ll definitely be hanging on to this for my future kiddos.
