I think some times we all need some support. I have said this before here and here. And sometimes the support we creatives need is a little bit thin on the ground.
Cheer squads are necessary if we want to succeed. They are not a ‘would like’ but a ‘must have’. It was one of the first things I remember pondering when I started selling my bags nearly two years ago. It was in a list of must haves for starting a creative business, a family that supports your decision.

At the beginning of December when I was asked to create my Creative Dreams for 2011, I surprised myself.
I wrote down goals that I hadn’t given much thought to. Before being asked I had no idea what I wanted from this year. It’s not that I’m not a goal setter, I really am. It was more that I hadn’t got my mind around what direction I wanted to take and what it is that I wanted from myself.

I think most people feel that at one time or another, especially when they are starting something new or taking that next step in their businesses and in their lives.
Being a part of that Blog hop allowed me to get serious and think about what I really wanted and what I felt that I was lacking.
