The Power of Support
When it comes to our futures and our hopes and dreams, we are often faced with a dilemma: do we tell everyone about it right from the beginning and hope that they are supportive without hesitation; do we shy away from making them come true for fear of their negative reactions; or do we just find our path and do it anyway.

It is such a scary prospect to think about dreams as something that can actually come true, we’re not Cinderella after all. Society reinforces the idea that we work only to enjoy life later, that dreamers are akin to those crazy people everyone laughs at at the party. But it’s just not the case.
We can be who and what we want to be if we are willing to work out how to get there and can find the supportive people that we need to get us there.
Support is an amazing thing. Especially when it comes from the most unlikely of places. It can turn your day from ruined to manageable in minutes. It can turn a disaster into one of the best decisions you ever made.
It is something that everyone needs at some point in their life, no matter what it is that they are doing. What we need to realise is that if it’s not coming from who we had hoped, we need to look elsewhere not give up altogether.
The main things I see stopping stopping people from taking that leap from ‘stuck in the moment’ to the future they want is that fear that says this is too big, I can’t work out what the baby steps are and that they can’t see support from where they are standing.
That’s why, (during and) after taking the fire starter sessions I knew what I needed to write next. Do It Anyway is a guide in two parts. First for dreamers who are looking to take that next step and make their dreams a reality and secondly for those who are looking to find their support network.
For me, I just knew I had to write it. It is something that I’m completely passionate about and it breaks my heart to see people giving up on their dreams because they just don’t know where to go from where they are stuck.
I tried to write you a polished ‘launch post’ but it’s just not me. I poured my heart into this product and it’s purpose is to help people who want to find a way to make their dreams a reality and to have the future that they really want.

The Path to a Better Business
When I started on my creative business journey, to say that I was lost in a new world of information would be an understatement. I had lost my job and didn’t know what else to do but to attempt to make my creative dreams a reality.

I read through blogs that would tell me that this would make me successful and ones that told me that they could make me an instant Etsy success. I followed all the advice and was left wondering why it wasn’t working for me.
I stumbled and made mistakes, I’m not ashamed to admit it. I needed a plan and to get my head around the how of making my dreams come true. I couldn’t find that one thing that could help me to get on the track to success.
