I was finally able to get my new camera (woohoo!) this weekend that has just past, and I’m so excited that I can finally share with you some of the things I have been hoping to for a while now.
I’m calling this series Childhood Treasures and it will feature some of the cool and fun things that I have held onto since I was little.
To start things off, I wanted to share a toy that has been very well loved and now sits in my office. I’m not sure if any of you were Punky Brewster fans, but I was. I thought she was so cool, so when I got this as a present one day, I was over the moon!

She’s about 12cm (5in) talland is marked Copyright 1984 (which makes her a year older than me!). She came in the pouch that’s in the third picture, which hung off your leg just under the knee. Sadly my knees aren’t as tiny as there were when I was 3 and the pouch is a little worse for wear. I remember having so many “punky” style adventures with her. I can’t believe that I still have her. I just had to share her, now that I have a camera that can do macro shots!
It’s so interesting to see which toys make it through the years and which ones don’t!
Please feel free to share your childhood memories on your blog and leave a link here. I’d love to check them out.

Oh this is too cool! I never really watched Punky Brewster, but I was a big fan of Full House :-)
Oh I loved Full House!! That show was so awesome!! :)
